Slide Show Gallery |
Here is a slide show of all the horses Missy's Hope
and Phoenix Rising Horse Rescue rescued from the Oneill, NE Auction.
|
|
This is a slide show of a body condition
scale.
|
|
If you see a horse with a body condition of 0, 1,
or 2, please try to get photo documentation and make a note of everything
that you see. Then contact the owner of the horse, if you feel it is
safe to do so. Above All Be POLITE. Try to find out as much as
you can about the horse. It may be a recent rescue from a neglect
situation. Try to take note of hay or any feed source near the
horse, shelter, and fresh water sources. Pay attention to what the
owner tells you about the horse. As soon as you can, take notes of
your conversation with the owner.
If you feel that the horse is in danger,
please contact a local equine rescue. They are used to handling
situations like this. If you do not know of a local rescue, feel
free to email me with the email listed at the bottom of the page. I
will be more than happy to help you locate the closest rescue.
