Jeni Benos has
donated these two beautiful pieces of sterling silver
jewelry to NEER...
The horse heads are about an inch from mane to mane, on a silver
necklace chain, in a lovely fuzzy black box. They are very pretty!
Jeni sells it for $65. You can get it here for $50...
This is a very cute teeny little running horse on a strand of leather, it
can be used as a bracelet, a necklace, or anything else...it has two
holes on the back to run something through. It is about 3/4 inches
long and a 1/2 inch from ear to toe. Jeni sells Run Free for $35, get
it here for $25
About Jeni:
I hand carve all of my pieces in wax and I work with a local foundry that
helps me cast them through the lost wax casting process. They are all
sterling silver with a hand polishes finish and are stamped with the proper
quality marks. I have worked with horses for most of my life and they
have been the inspiration for the majority of my jewelry and artwork.

| Day of Blogs for Bay State Equine Rescue
Posted by: "Trisha Wooldridge" trisha_j_wooldridge@yahoo.com trisha_j_wooldridge
Wed Jul 9, 2008 8:38 pm (PDT)
Hello Everyone!
I just wanted to drop a line to remind everyone that I will be blogging for TWENTY-FOUR
HOURS on July 26th to help raise funds for the Bay State Equine Rescue as part of the
world-wide event Day of Blogs. So, every half hour, I will write
something new on my web-log blog at novelfriend.livejournal.com
But I need sponsors to make this work. You can sponsor as little or as much as you
like! It will go 100% to the Bay State Equine Rescue to help horses who have been
abused, neglected, or abandoned.
In fact, you can find out about these amazing horses by viewing my blog on July 26th, as
that is what Ill mainly be writing about!
However, if you are a business and want to help even more and get a little
publicity out of it you can give a simple donation of $15 and I will reserve one of
my half-hour blogs JUST FOR YOU! Ill even include a photo or graphic, if you
have one. There is a limit of 20 of these slots, though, and they are already
filling up so reserve one now!
Please, help me help horses by sponsoring me in the Annual Day of Blogs for
the Bay State Equine Rescue. You can sponsor me for any amount. Sponsorships
can go directly to the BSER through PayPal at sms@baystateequinerescue.com (sms @ baystateequinerescue.com)or send a
check to Bay State Equine Rescue at 415 Hunt Road, Oakham, MA 01068.
Please note Day of Blogs in your memo or PayPal note, so I know who to
thank!
Thank you for your continued support of the Bay State Equine Rescue; we wouldnt be
able to help the horses we do without the help of friends and supporters like you!
Best,

| Help the Horses through EBay!

All:
As you know, with concern about hay and feed prices this year and the
downwardly-spiraling economy, it's going to be a little harder to
raise the funds that we need to help feed and care for rescued horses.
So we have opened an account on Missionfish, the Ebay charitable site,
to help us do that.
When you sell an item on Ebay, the software will ask if you'd like to
donate a portion of the sales price through Ebay giving. A "yes"
answer will allow you to select the White Bird Appaloosa Horse Rescue
as the recipient, as well as indicate the percentage of the sales that
you wish to be donated.
Please consider this option the next time you sell an item on Ebay.
Feed will be expensive this year and every dollar you contribute will
help to feed horses rescued from situations of high risk. Thank you in
advance for your support!

opportunity to make very nice full color 28 page wall calendars of some of our most
notable cases/equines.
But we need everyone's help-as usual.
Sponsorships are the ONLY way that we will be able to raise the funding for this endeavor.
You can join the project with one of four levels:
BRONZE, $10.00 - gets your name
printed on the inside cover as a bronze sponsor.
SILVER, $25.00 - gets your name
printed on the inside cover as a silver sponsor, and you will receive one of the
calendars.

printed on the inside cover as a gold sponsor, and you will receive a calendar and a USERL
auto decal.
PLATINUM, $100.00 - gets your
name printed on the inside cover as a platinum sponsor, you will receive a calendar, and
you will get space on one of the monthly pages for an advertisement, message, or

The calendars will hopefully be available for purchase by the end of August/ beginning of
September. Please pass this on to your family and friends! It is all to save more horses,

http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com
Hi, all you animal lovers. This is pretty simple. Please tell ten friends totell ten
today!
The Animal
Rescue Site is having trouble
getting enough people
to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated
every day to abused and neglected animals.
>
It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on the purple box
"fund food for animals" for free. This doesn't cost you a thing. Their
corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food
to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising.

Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know.

| Book - How to Start and Run a Rescue (sales help rescue horses!)

Howdy,
If you are looking to start a rescue of any species or already run a
rescue and want to improve how you operate, check out How to Start and
Run a Rescue at http:// www.
howtostartarescue. com/ (remove spaces) The book covers
topics like fundraising, public relations, adoption programs, putting
together a board of directors and much more. I've successfully run a
rescue for 10 years - and I wrote the book because people kept asking,
"How do I start a rescue?' or "I need help with my rescue - what do I
do?!'. There was just too much stuff to put in an email. :)
The book also includes stories and photos of 'real life' success cases. :)
For each book sold, I'm making a donation to Bluebonnet Equine Humane
Society - to help needy horses.
Thanks! Visit the website at www. howtostartarescue. com (remove spaces) - the more
good rescues we have out there, the more good we can do!!
